Hello bOObs Blogettes:

I’ve had a few inquiries about things cancer other than breast cancer (BC) screening so I thought I’ll diverge into another topic today. My film “bOObs” is on the topic of BC screening, so that’s why I hone in on that subject. But some women have already been diagnosed with BC or have found lumps in their breasts so they are looking for more information pertaining to their situations.

For background, I was curious to learn about non-conventional therapies following my husband’s death 12 years ago from lung cancer, and his sudden demise after too much chemotherapy. In fact, my next film will address non-conventional cancer therapies “A New Standard of Care” (release date TBD), so I’m at least a little versed on this topic. You can find information at: https://waymarkproductions.com/projects/

So here is some information for those women who are past the screening stage, and others that may want to simply learn about keeping their breasts healthy.

I originally learned about non-conventional approaches to cancer after a friend sent me Ty Bollinger’s excellent series on that topic: The Truth about Cancer. Ty basically sits down with one non-conventional doctor after another to talk about different aspects of cancer and treating patients with non-toxic forms of natural therapies. If you have been diagnosed with cancer or suspect you might have it and wish to take the non-conventional approach, Ty’s series are a good place to start. You will learn a lot and it’s a great in-depth overview. Here’s a link to Ty’s Facebook page that you can search to find the series: https://www.facebook.com/thetruthaboutcancer/

I’d also highly recommend Suzanne Somers excellent book “Knockout: Doctors Who are Curing Cancer” on the same topic. I had the privilege of interviewing Suzanne several years ago for my next film, “A New SOC,” along with many, many doctors (and patients), some of whom are in her book and in Ty’s series. You can find Suzanne’s book on Amazon, now in paperback form for about $10. It’s a deal!

Personally, if I ever contracted cancer of any kind, I would hightail it down to Mexico to a clinic named “Hope 4 Cancer” that is run by Dr. Tony Jimenez. Dr. Tony is a wonderful soul and is truly doing everything in his power to help those in need. I’ve seen (and filmed) many of the miracles he’s performed on cancer patients, including the reversal of some patients in Stage 4. He has offices in Cancun and Tijuana. Here’s the link to find him: https://hope4cancer.com

I recently conducted a Q&A with Dr. V, or Veronique Desaulniers, D.C., where we discussed her practice and expanded on things in my film. You might find some interesting information in this interview on both prevention and treatment and the coalition I’m trying to build amongst women (and men!) concerned with the issue of BC screening: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vd9d53vPs1c

On another practical matter, for anyone wishing to avoid mammography, let me guide you to places in the U.S. where you can get a thermogram and ultrasound taken together during the same appointment. (Remember: These are different tests, looking for different things; a thermogram is a test of physiology checking for the cancer precursor of inflammation, and an ultrasound is a test of anatomy (as are mammograms and MRIs) that is looking for an actual tumor already formed in the breast. Both are non-invasive, painless, and non-radiative!:)

There are two places I’ve personally used that conduct the thermogram and ultrasound at same time, one in Va. and one in Calf.:

Dr. Galina Migalko is located in the Los Angeles, CA area and can carryout both the thermograms and ultrasound right there in her office. She also interprets the results herself on the spot, and as an MD, a thermologist, and an ultrasonographer, is very qualified to do so. She’ll help guide you with lifestyle changes to help keep your breasts healthy and/or reverse inflammation of problematic areas: https://www.universalmedicalimaging.com

Cindy Stillwell Chronister conducts thermograms at Core Health and Wellness in Troy, Va. near Charlottesville and then sends them away to Dr. Amalu (see below) for interpretation. She has an ultrasound person visit her office about once a month or so, so you can coordinate same day appointments to have both screeners done at the same time. She’s very gentle, kind and professional and you will love her! You can find her facility’s info here: https://corehealth.com

Cindy at Core Health has her thermograms interpreted by Dr. William Amalu at the Eagle Institute of Clinical Thermology. Dr. Amalu studied under one of the most well known thermologists in the U.S., William Hobbins, MD, and is very thorough in his interpretation. He’s put together a list of where to find qualified U.S. thermographers state-by-state here: https://breastthermography.com/find-a-center/

There is of course much more information about thermography and ultrasound and BC screening in general in my film “bOObs” which you can find here for rental or purchase: www.boobsDoc.com

I hope this answers at least some of your questions, ladies! I really appreciate any feedback you have for me so keep it coming.
